Nick Virgilio's Uncollected Haiku
Nick Virgilio's unpublished and uncollected published haiku number well into the thousands. Our goal for this section of the NVPP website is to present a growing selection of those haiku that Nick Virgilio published in one of the many haiku magazines to which he was a regular contributor, but which were not selected for Selected Haiku. As our work with the materials of the Virgilio archive continues, we will also be assembling a collection of poems Virgilio never published but which, as is indicated in the poet's notes, letters and marginalia, he clearly wished to preserve.
